Kirkman® is excited to offer a revolutionary new product from Nordic Naturals™. The idea that all Cod Liver Oil tastes terrible is now a thing of the past. Nordic Naturals™ has formulated an effervescent Cod Liver Oil that tastes great with no fishy aftertaste. The product is in powdered form with each dose individually packaged in a convenient packet which can then be opened and mixed in water or juice. Four to six ounces of liquid is generally adequate, but more may be used to suit individual tastes. The powder is creamy orange in flavor and contains 500 mg of EPA and DHA along with the vitamins A and D-3 that are naturally occurring in the Norwegian Cod Liver Oil.
The effervescent feature makes it possible to make the oil based product in a stable powdered form, which dissolves quickly as soon as the effervescent power hits the liquid being used.
Nordic Naturals™ uses only pharmaceutical grade cod liver oil which is molecularly distilled and tested to ensure that no detectable levels of heavy metals, pesticides or PCB’s are present.
Kirkman® further tests the product to ensure that it is free of casein, gluten, soy and peanuts. A certificate of analysis for those four allergens is included with each unit Kirkman® ships.
