About Super Nu-Thera®
Super Nu-Thera® is a multiple vitamin/mineral supplement featuring vitamin B-6 and magnesium. Super Nu-Thera® also contains the rest of the B-vitamins, vitamin C, the oil soluble vitamins E, A, and D (in many formulations), as well as the minerals zinc, manganese and selenium. The Super Nu-Thera® “challenge” products also contain the Daily Recommended Values of calcium.
Dosage:
Individuals who have special sensitivities and nutritional requirements should always begin with ¼ of the recommended dosage for a few days and gradually work up to the full dose. A regular dose of Super Nu-Thera® powder is one teaspoon, twice daily, or as recommend by a physician. The optimal amount of Super Nu-Thera® needed will vary according to the weight of the individual. Dr. Rimland’s original weight/dosage chart is included with the product.
The “Challenge” Products
0470-150: This is Kirkman’s “original” and “classic” version of Super Nu-Thera®, which is a naturally flavored orange powder. This product incorporates all of the latest clinical advances including the biochemically active form of folate — folinic acid — and iodine.
0307-150: Many parents and professionals asked Kirkman® to formulate a hypoallergenic version of Super Nu-Thera® powder. We worked on such a formulation for a long time, but because a hypoallergenic formula cannot use flavorings or artificial sweeteners, making such a product reasonably palatable was a challenge.
After years of testing and numerous prototypes, we finally were successful at developing an excellent hypoallergenic Super Nu-Thera® powder that tastes pretty good and suspends in various liquids extremely well. In fact, the ease in suspending is a great improvement over past Super Nu-Thera® powders that left a residue. This product incorporates all of the latest clinical advances including the biochemically active form of folate -- folinic acid -- and iodine. For those individuals unable to swallow capsules or caplets, this product offers another choice in a hypoallergenic formulation.
Super Nu-Thera® powders suspend easily in liquids and can be mixed in semi-solid foods. Powders provide an option for those individuals unable to swallow capsules or caplets and are favorites to mix in foods.
